Jubilee – Pilgrims of Hope Mass at St Mary’s Church
Our Y6 class joined hundreds of other children from Catholic Schools in and around Chorley for the ‘Jubilee – Pilgrims of Hope Mass’ at St Mary’s Church, last Tuesday. It was a special event and Mr Lindley, Head at Holy Cross, thinks that this is probably the first time that such a gathering has happened.
Father Marsden concelebrated Mass with the priests from the local parishes. All the children from all the schools behaved superbly and sang the hymns beautifully.
Thank you to Mrs Huddy, Mrs Walmsley and all the team at Holy Cross for organising. We can look forward to other such events in the future.
