On Friday 10th February 2023 we are inviting children to join us in a non-uniform day. Children are invited to wear whatever they feel comfortable in for the day. We are not asking for a donation it is just to celebrate and raise awareness for Children’s Mental Health Week.

Place2Be launched the first-ever Children's Mental Health Week in 2015 to shine a spotlight on the importance of children and young people's mental health. It has since become a nationally recognised event, with hundreds of schools and colleges participating across England, Scotland and Wales, as well as hundreds of children, parents and carers. This year the Theme for Children’s Mental Health week is “Let’s Connect” and this week we will be taking part in activities related to connecting with others.

There are lots of useful tips and information on the website Place2be visit by clicking this link - https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/families/

We look forward to seeing all your children “dress to express” and be themselves on Friday. We only ask that they still bring their warm school coat and wear shoes/trainers that they can run and play in as normal lessons will still run and they will still be going outside at break times.
