Our Year 3 pupils have been invited to take part in a special Religious Education visit to Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, organised by their class teacher and RE Subject Leader Mr Hodge.
This exciting trip will take place alongside eight other Chorley primary schools over a three-day period and provides a wonderful opportunity for the children to visit a significant place of worship that many may not yet have experienced.
During the visit, pupils will:
- Take part in a guided tour of the Cathedral
- Attend and participate in a celebration of Mass
- Learn about the history, features, and importance of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral
The visit has been carefully planned to enrich the children’s understanding of their Religious Education curriculum and to offer them a meaningful and memorable experience of faith in action.
